Job Title: Technical Writer

Job Description: Technical Writer Job purpose:
 To assume the role and responsibility of producing and “keeping the flow” of all published user materials for print, PDF, web and e-mail as well as audit all technical information on products which are published for sales & marketing and user product support.
 Technical Writer Job Duties
 - User Manuals: To create, review and re-write any and all manuals to be understandable to the user and work backwards finding and fixing all currently posted information.
 - Data / Cut sheets: Work with Art department to ensure all Data sheet specifications are correct and match user manuals.
 - Catalog / Brochure Data: Work with art department to ensure catalog data matches user manuals and data sheets.
 - Website data management: Work with Art department to make sure content matches user manuals and ensure all corresponding fixture details and images are uploaded to website and are current. Uploads are user Manual, DMX chart, Data sheet, CAD file, Photometric Data, IES Files, Accessories, Accessory images, Good effect images and Video.
 - Respond to any other department that needs information. Work with Art Department to provide information.
 - Summery of position: To make sure that every unit has all information matching and consistent and that every product has all information the customers may need or require.
 - Support all group of companies where needed.
 Manuals. Data sheets, website, catalogs, brochures
 Skills and Qualifications
 Proficient in Speaking, reading and writing the English language
 Great communication skills
 Technical knowledge with Theatrical or Architectural lighting luminaires
 Proficient in Adobe Acrobat
 Proficient in Adobe Indesign
 Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
 High School diploma + min 2+ years of College

Job Title: Technical Sales Support

Job Description: BASIC FUNCTION:
 The function of the Technical Sales Support is to provide direct support to the Sales Managers and Sales Representatives in the ongoing development of existing and prospective customers to ensure that the department is able to meet its growth targets. Provide proactive response to customer and internal staff technical support.
 The following are principal duties of the Technical Sales Support role include but are not limited to:• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner• Work with all personnel and outside contacts to satisfy clients and achieve company goals• Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions• Arrive to work and meetings on time and prepared• Maintain work areas in a clean and organized manner• Become proficient in the operation of all the companies products• Provide phone or hands on training and support to sales team and customers when required• Answer incoming phone calls from customers and reps• Perform any other duties assigned by your manager
 The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for ensuring that:• All of the duties of the position are completed as per the job description• Duties are performed accurately and on time• Required to travel from time to time to support onsite projects, demos and trade show events
 QUALIFICATIONS:• 5 years of technical hands on Experience or some level of customer service experience of theatrical/ entertainment lighting and video products• Working Knowledge of DMX control systems and automated lighting• AutoCad, Vectorworks, Media Server knowledge preferred• Microsoft, Word Excel, PowerPoint• Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team player• Working Hours 8:00am – 4:30 pm M-F (overtime and travel time eligible)• Must live in the greater Los Angeles, CA area
 The following will be used to evaluate and compensate the performance of the Technical Sales Support Representative:• Hourly base pay structure based on experience with ability to move to fixed salary in future• Performance based bonus program evaluated annually• Standard Full time Employee healthcare/benefits/vacation package
 Technical Sales Support role will report directly to the National Sales Manager
