Kuchem Konferenz Technik Invests in Elation SixBar™ LED Battens

German system integration and event technology company Kuchem Konferenz Technik has added 110 of Elation Professional’s SixBar 1000™ LED battens to its inventory. The Elation SixBar 1000 is a color-changing batten featuring a 6-color LED multi-chip that can be used for a variety of purposes such as general purpose wash/strip lighting, uplighting, cyc wash, accent lighting or as a pixel strip.
 
 “Our growth over the last few years has meant more customer requests for flexible color-changing lighting so we looked at the SixBar 1000 and decided to add them to our inventory,” stated Kristina Kuchem, CEO of Kuchem Konferenz Technik. “Our technicians compared the product to other manufacturers and the SixBar fulfilled our needs completely. We can use them in many different applications and in a great number of the projects that we normally equip. We chose it for the six-color LED engine, the individual LED control, its flicker-free operation, and the various connection possibilities that make them easy to set up. It is the first Elation product in our inventory and we are excited to have them.”
 
 The 900 mm long SixBar 1000 houses 12 x 12W single-lens RGBWA+UV LEDs for an expanded palette of colors, including ambers, true whites and an ultraviolet effect. It features individual LED control for greater design possibilities and is capable of smooth dimming from 0-100%. It also includes variable dimming curves for faster programming and a selection of built in color macros, color fades, strobe and chase effects add to its versatility. Included is a removable glare shield and diffusion filter that is ideal when using as a wall wash unit. The SixBar is also available in a shorter 450mm version.
