Elation Introduces Design LED 60 Strips
In RGB And White Versions
LOS ANGELES - Elation Professional has taken LEDs to new lengths with the Design LED 60 Strip and Design LED 60 Strip WA. Measuring nearly 6 long (68”), these high-output LED strips are perfect for lighting up stages, runways, cycs, walls, exhibits, video production sets - anywhere an extended line or border of bright light is needed.
The elongated strips come in two versions - RGB (Design LED 60 Strip), and white (Design LED 60 Strip WA). Each model contains 60 high-output 1-watt Luxeon LEDs, arranged in 20 groups of 3 LEDs each. There are a red, green and blue LED in each grouping on the RGB version, and 2 white and 1 amber LEDs in each grouping on the WA version, allowing for white light color temp control from 3,200 to 5,600k.
Using a DMX controller, operators can produce an infinite range of colors on the RGB version, or change from warm to cool white seamlessly on the WA model. There are several DMX modes available for each unit, including up to 63 channels for the RGB version for “pixel” control.

Whats more, because the Design LED 60 Strip and Design LED 60 Strip WA feature flicker-free operation, theyre also well-suited to video production. And, although they stretch nearly 6 in length, theyre compact enough in depth to fit easily into 12” truss if required.
But dimension isnt the only thing thats “long” about the Design LED 60 Strip and Design LED 60 Strip WA - theyre also long in lamp life. With their LEDs rated at 100,000 hours, theyll keep borders burning brightly, with no bothersome and costly lamp replacements.
Users will also enjoy the many other benefits of LED lighting, such as minimal heat generation, which keeps stages and production sets at a comfortable temperature. And, thanks to the low power consumption of LED, operators will save on energy costs too. The Design LED 60 Strip and Design LED 60 Strip WA each consume only 140 watts of power, despite their impressive outputs of 570 lumens and 919 lumens at 1 meter respectively.
Both models feature a built-in power supply - 90-260V AC, 50-60Hz (multi voltage). Other features on the Design LED 60 Strip and Design LED 60 Strip WA include: 8 built-in programs with speed control; 1-18 flash-per-second strobe effect; sound control via built-in microphone; master-slave operation; 80? beam angle, and 0-100% dimming. A mounting bracket with a safety I-hook is included with each model.
The Design LED 60 Strip and Design LED 60 Strip WA each measure 68”L x 8.5”W x 3.25”H without the bracket, and weigh 24 lbs. The suggested retail price of each model is $2,199.95.
