Elation Road Show 2006 Update

Elation Roadshow Product-Training Seminar Drawing Large Turnouts

LOS ANGELES - The Elation 2006 Training Product Roadshow is drawing larger-than-anticipated crowds of lighting dealers and installers. When it stopped in Dallas in March 22 and 23, it attracted its largest audience yet - more than 50.

Launched this year by Elation Professional, the free-of-charge two-day educational seminar, held in major cities throughout the U.S., provides Elation dealers and installers with hands-on experience and information on the companys latest product offerings.

“Attendees have been very responsive to our Roadshow seminars,” said Eric Loader, Elations director of sales. “They asked excellent questions, to which we provided answers on the spot. Thats the great thing about the Roadshow -- the quality of time we get to spend with our customers is something impossible to achieve at a traditional trade show exhibition.”

Moreover, added Loader, not all dealers and installers are able to attend trade shows, which, he said, is how the companys novel take-it-on-the-road approach to training evolved. “As part of our strong commitment to customer service, we are offering our dealers the convenience of being able to attend product training seminars in their own cities at no charge,” Loader said.

Presented by theatrical sales specialist Ray Villasenor, and Loader himself, the Roadshow provides attendees with information and hands-on experience with Elations high-tech products, including intelligent lighting, lighting controllers and software, professional fog machines, LED lighting and more.

“The Roadshow here in Dallas was excellent,” said Elation dealer John Jakob from Aritex Lighting and Sales in Dallas. Jakob, who brought two of his team members to the Roadshow, added that the seminar was a very positive experience for all of them, and that it will help his team in future sales.

For two days, Roadshow attendees are immersed into Elations world of lighting. Each morning session (10 a.m.-1 p.m.) is devoted to CompuWare and Lighting Controllers, and each afternoon session (2 p.m.-5 p.m.) is devoted to Lighting Products. Both sessions cover products features, benefits, applications and troubleshooting, to provide dealers with valuable sales training that will help them sell and support Elation products more effectively.

While the two-day seminar is only open to Elation dealers and installers, there is a special demo session open to end-users as well. Offered from 5-8 p.m. on the second day of the seminar, this demo session provides a great opportunity for dealers to invite their customers to learn about the Elation product line.

“This gives dealers a value-added service they can offer their customers, and at the same time, by educating people about Elation products, they will very likely see their own sales increase,” Loader said.

A Summer-Fall 2006 Elation Roadshow schedule is in the works. Keep an eye out for more dates to be announced on the companys website at www.elationlighting.com.
